ESL One NY 2015 Opens Its Doors for the Best Teams in Southeast Asia, Register Now
Electronic Sports League (ESL) invites Southeast Asian (SEA) teams for the first time for a chance to compete in the Local Area Network (LAN) finals in New York. The best team in the region will go up against with the world’s top Dota 2 teams for over $250,000 (P11.5 million~) prize pool at Madison Square Garden on October 3-4.
The matches will be in a best of one series and the top four teams will proceed to the main qualifier – schedule to be announced – where a sole victor will fly to New York for the main event.
Interested teams can register until August 22 at 2:00pm Singapore Time (SGT/GMT+8; same in Philippine time). The tournament itself starts at 3:00 p.m SGT and will end on August 23.
Last year’s ESL One New York only had an American, European and Chinese qualifiers. Vici Gaming, one of the Chinese team powerhouses, won the championship and took home $56,000 (P2.5 million~)
