GosuCup Hearthstone Comes to Southeast Asia
First established in February, the GosuCup Hearthstone will now include the Southeast Asian (SEA) region.
The tournament is open to players from the SEA region namely: Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and Burma.
Participating players will play 16 weeks of Hearthstone action competing for the cash prize, in-game items and a slot at the Grand Finals.
The total prize pool for this event is $1,300 and $5,000 worth of Dota 2 keys and rares.
The tournament will be played alternately with the Normal and Budget weeks.
The budget weeks will restrict players from using “epic” and “legendary” cards, evening out the playing field for players who recently entered the Hearthstone competitive scene.
Week 17 will be the Grand Finals week, where players will have a chance to take home $300 as champion and $150 and $50 for the second and third placers respectively.
