Razer NeXT CrossFire Tournament: The Last Showdown
Everything comes to an end.
Indeed, it all ends here as we witness the final stage of the sixth leg of the Razer NeXT CrossFire Tournament.
The regular competitive map pool will be used in this tournament, which means that Port, Mexico, Sub Base, Ankara and Black Widow are all up for grabs!
Will the South be able to take it home in this dying chapter? Or will the North seal the deal and make sure that the final trophy goes to the Pacific offices?
All will be revealed tomorrow!
But in the meantime, let us have a look at the way these teams size up against each other, given that the CrossFire Stars National Finals is fast approaching:
The Joint Kings of the North: Pacific.Wara and Pacific.Macta
Besides being considered as the top guns of the country who can pack their punch at the highest levels of the game, these two teams are never the same.
While Pacific.Wara relies heavily on their attackers (and mid-round calling) to win their rounds, Pacific.Macta places their faith in the “tried and tested” pick-off strategy.
Now that the CrossFire National Finals are fast approaching, these two Pacific teams will either play their standard styles or will test out new strategies for the largest CrossFire tournament this October.
Will they be able to take the final trophy? Or will Pacific.Macta’s record-breaking run of five back-to-back championships be brought to a halt?
Rise of the South: NERVE and HasLeft.PS
After a heroic stand at the ESF Cebu CrossFire Competition, the Southern teams have seen how the North executes their strategies, with some matches turning out to be complete routs.
Surely enough, the Cebu teams have learned that aim and talent are not enough to take titles.
With the insights that they gained and the hunger that they have amassed since Day 1 of the 2015 CrossFire season, these teams would be a menace for their compatriots in the North.
In addition, the teams have gradually improved since the first wave of the tournament and the very fact that many of the teams have been able to take maps off Wara or Macta means that these teams are certainly capable of taking the bacon home.
The question is: Will they be able to step up their game on the very day of the tournament? Or will they falter in the very last moment?
The semi-finals of the sixth leg of the Razer NeXT CrossFire Tournament will commence tomorrow Sunday at 2 p.m!
