The Hearthstone Asia Pacific Regional Qualifiers Brackets
The first day of October marks another hurdle to be crossed by the aspiring BlizzCon competitors. Eight players from Japan (1), Southeast Asia(1), Korea(2), Australia/New Zealand(2) and Taiwan(2) will be facing off by the first weekend of this month to determine who will go to the World Championship stage at Los Angeles, California this coming November.
The Asia Pacific Regional Qualifiers tournament will be structured into two groups on a double elimination format to determine the 4 players to proceed.
Group A
Korea’s Taesang ‘Taesang’ Yun will be facing off against Southeast Asia Champion’s Lan ‘Neilyo’ Tran on the first match while Kwo-Ping ‘Pinpingho’ Ho will duel Declan ‘Deckizz’ Eskdale.
Group B
Japan’s representative ‘Kno‘ will be going up against Taiwan’s ‘Chilly’ in the first match of Group B while Taesang’s fellow Korean Hakjun ‘Kranich’ Baek will be across ‘FriedChicken’ who’s taking the place of Australia/New Zealand Qualifier 2nd placer ‘EdwardElric’.
