With the help of Senator Bam Aquino and the Philippine eSports Association (PesPA), the Filipino players didn’t have any dilemmas with regards to applying for visas unlike in the past.
Visa issues has been one of the problems in competitive gaming and local players from League of Legends (LoL) to Dota 2 had problems in competing internationally because of unapproved visas.

The only dilemma facing the players is the tough competition with the international teams. They will be facing off with most of the top tier teams in the Dota 2 scene for over $3 million (Php 141~ million) starting November 13-21.
