KPop Star Bona to Join Professional StarCraft 2 Team
In what can only be described as a surreal confluence of events, the leader of a Korean Pop music group has joined an eSports organization to play StarCraft 2 (SC2): Legacy of the Void — professionally.
Cupid’s Bona posted on her twitter account that she will be joining SC2 team, MVP, earlier today. Bona has been a member of KPop group Cupid since their debut in April of this year.

Roughly translated, her twitter status reads: ” “I am now part of team MVP! I will show gamers a good role model, too! Fighting!” MVP, on their official twitter account, responded with open arms.

With Bona joining up, she will also be joined by two other female players: One Sora Park and another yet unconfirmed member. The three will be replacing Kim “Aphrodite” Ga Young.
