Nearly two thousand strong gamers flocked to the first ever PlayPark Extreme Party held last Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena. The venue that is famously used for basketball games for the PBA and the Asean Basketball League became home to a different kind of game that day.

PlayPark Philippines is the platform that allows developers to publish the best mobile and PC games in the Southeast Asian region. So all of you developers should be keen to know that their doors are always open if you have great games you want published someday. We all can dream right?

FEATURED STORIES

The PlayPark Extreme Party showcased the many games they offer such as Heroes of the Storm, Special Forces 2, Dragonica Mobile and many more. On top of PCs and test units being scattered all over the venue, you can test the games on your own time. The event had many things lined up during the day. There were bands, dancers, contests to give it the real shindig feel. And what is a gaming event without its fair share of cosplayers right?

Ryan Sacares of PlayPark Product Management and Ayee Calma, the regional Project Manager-Mobile are ecstatic at the great response at the PlayPark Extreme Party.

Sacares says the platform is greatly picking up steam and is gaining more and more users. The event was organized in order to help bring about more buzz regarding their products as well as a way to give thanks to its growing community. Sacares and Calma hope that this is just the first of many.
