Blizzard Reveals Final Expansion to StarCraft II
Blizzard announced the final installment of the StarCraft II trilogy, Legacy of the Void.
The Protoss campaign will feature Artanis as the leader of the Protoss race, who is trying to reclaim their homeland Aiur0 together with the Dark Templar Zeratul. Coming back in the series is Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan.
Blizzard said that the standalone expansion will also include new multiplayer features such as the Automated Tournament where players will engage in daily tournaments open to everyone, all over the globe, to battle for glory and race domination.
Another is the Archon Mode, where two players control a single base against two enemies. This unique mode will test the compatibility of players and their favorite races.
Lastly, Allied Commanders is an objective based cooperative mode where players choose their favorite commander in their respective race and fight in various scenarios in a campaign-style game. Players need to level up their commanders to gain abilities and units along the way.
Aside from the new features, there will also be race updates by the three main factions for multiplayer mode.
The Terran will have two new units: Herc and Cyclone.

The Ravager is an acid spitting creature bred by the Zerg. Also returning is an old favorite: the Lurker Hydralisk evolution from Brood War.
Finally, the Protoss have constructed the Disruptor, ready to decimate the field of battle in a blaze of plasma and electricity.
