Retrac to Mineski, Getziimov Dropped from Main Lineup
UPDATE:
According to statements from Getziimov and Yamyam Villanueva Yui, Mineski’s manager, the transfers are not yet official and Getziimov still remains in the roster even though he has been dropped from the main lineup.
A couple of days ago, Mineski, one of the country’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) teams, had a very unexpected roster change after they swapped Stephen “Getziimov” Doron, their main sniper, for James Carter “RETRAC” Joy Ang.
In the aftermath of the change, Getziimov goes back to his former home in the form of 5Peaks, while RETRAC will once again see familiar faces as he played under the KINGSMEN tag during the second season of the Mineski CS:GO Shootout.
While Mineski has been struggling to find results both locally and internationally in recent times, 5Peaks has been slowly rising up after getting a draw with Mineski in MPGL as well as finishing in the quarter-finals of the AGES 2016 CS:GO Philippine Qualifiers.
It is unknown which roles will Getziimov and RETRAC play in their respective teams as of press time.
