7-the-grand-finaleAfter two grueling rounds of qualifiers and an action-packed playoffs, the Dota 2 and CS:GO teams who have proven their worth will finally be going up on the big stage. On September 18, the teams that will be representing the country at the regional qualifiers will be determined in the Grand Finals of the ASUS ROG Masters Philippine Qualifiers at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

TNC, Mineski-Dota, Rave, and S1.Lykos will be the four Dota 2 teams vying for two spots at the SEA regional qualifiers. While TNC and Mineski were invited to the playoffs and easily defeated the upstart qualifier teams arrayed against them on their way to the finals, Rave and S1.Lykos’ journey to the Skydome was much longer. Despite being mainstay teams in the Philippine Dota 2 competitive scene, Rave and S1.Lykos had to fight their way through the first round of qualifiers and the playoffs, where they upset the MPGL SEA Champions Execration (sans Gabbi, who was still on his way home from Malaysia when his team had to play) to compete at the Grand Finals.

Will TNC and Mineski continue their dominance? Or will Rave and S1.Lykos continue to upset the country’s more established teams? Find out as Rave faces Mineski while S1.Lykos takes on TNC in a best-of-three semifinals to see who can claim the two spots at the regionals and face each other at the best-of-three Grand Finals.

Meanwhile, both Mineski-CS:GO and Imperium Pro Team left a path of destruction on their way to the Finals as they swatted teams left and right in their respective qualifiers. Now the two juggernauts will have to face each other in a best-of-three Grand Finals to see who is truly the best CS:GO team in the country.
