If you’ve been invested in the local Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community recently, then chances are you’ve heard of something called “Havoc”. What is it? It’s a group of locally hosted CS:GO servers.

The people behind Havoc Gaming Server PH have made it their mission to, according to their official FB page, make Philippine CS:GO great again.

So far, they’ve held true to that goal. Seemingly coming out of nowhere around the start of 2017, Havoc has provided the CS:GO community with quality dedicated servers.

The 4 servers are geared for optimal gaming experiences, with 128 tick and 128 update and CMD rate. On top of that, they’re all free, and include tournaments complete with shoutcasting talent.

FEATURED STORIES

Diligence and commitment to the CS:GO players in the Philippines has seen the Havoc community grow to over 2,000 members. No easy feat for a privately run group of servers.

Now, Havoc is looking to step up its game by hosting an open tournament that will culminate in a LAN event at TNC’s High Grounds Café later in November.

Dubbed Operation Havoc, the tournament will have P100,000 in prize money. It will also feature a series of online qualifiers played on Havoc’s own servers during the months leading up to the High Grounds finals. What’s more, we’ll be broadcasting the tournament on our Esports INQ Twitch channel.

If you’re a CS:GO fan and are eager for the local scene to feature more tournaments, don’t miss this chance to watch Operation Havoc, which starts later this month!

And if you’re interested in joining the tournament, you can have a look at the rules here.

Then when you’re ready, you can sign up here. Note that there is a P500 registration fee, and part of that money will be used to add to the overall prize pool.
