The 5 Members of the TaskUs Titans Have Been Chosen
When the applications for the TaskUs Titans were opened, Dota 2 players all over the country instantly responded. Thousands of applications flooded in to take on the challenge of becoming a Titan.
Today, we are proud to announce that the five team members of the TaskUs Titans have been chosen.
The TaskUs Titans are:
- Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa
- Abeng “Abeng” Dicdican
- Don Carlo “BDZ” Manalo
- Karl Matthew “Santino” Jaime
- Froilan “Sip” Bonifacio
Built for Success
Among the many hopefuls, which included pro players, these individuals stood out. Together, they boast former stints on teams such as TNC, Young Minds, Entity, and Execration. Their gaming experience leaves no doubt that the TaskUs Titans can perform at a high level of Dota 2, on or off the stage.
A few key members were hand-picked—a decision that fell on the shoulders of Mark ”Cast” Pilar, the team’s coach. Having been with Rave and MSI-EvoGT in the past, Cast has a bulletproof resume. It will be his leadership and TNC’s supervision that will bring these five talented players together into a working team.
The players will have a few days to prepare before they move into the official TaskUs Titans gaming house. Once there, they will begin their training to be an elite level Dota 2 team, professional streamers, and faces for their organization.
A Collaborative Effort
With TaskUs providing the resources, TNC’s management, and Tier One Entertainment’s guidance, this group of Titans will be the first step in the evolution of what a pro player in the Philippines could be.
Additionally, you get a chance to meet and greet the Titans team on September 23, 2017 in Higher Grounds Cafe Quezon City. Stay tuned for more details. As giveaways, raffles and a mini tournament with Fifty Thousand Pesos to the winning teams are at stake.
