Liyab Esports Fails to Clinch PCS Playoffs
Despite a strong start to the inaugural season of the Pacific Championship Series, Philippine representative Liyab Esports lose their hopes for playoffs after a loss to Hong Kong Attitude in a tiebreaker for the last playoffs spot.
With a record of 6W-12L, Liyab has had their ups and downs throughout the season with issues in communication in draft and in-game. Liyab’s Korean top laner Kurd was even subbed out for a number of the team’s games with Kaigu.
The Filipino squad almost made the cut being one game away from playoffs, but unfortunately lost to HKA earlier in the night. Now, Liyab Esports will be going back to the drawing board and hope to improve in time for the summer split – if they want to make it to Worlds.
