Red Bull R1v1r Runes 2020 Nears National Finals
Red Bull R1V1R Runes is in its second year in the Philippines! After a month-long wait for the Qualifying rounds, winners from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are set to compete at the National Finals.
The event is in partnership with Gariath Concepts and will be live streamed by Lupon WomboXCombo on Saturday, May 30th 2020. The National Finals Champion will go on to face one member from team OG, The International‘s first ever back-to-back champions, in a 1–versus-1 Dota 2 match!
The following competitors qualified for the National Finals through the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao brackets.

The last two qualifiers for the National Finals will be decided later today in the Last Chance qualifiers.
What is R1v1r Runes?
River Runes is a custom map built in the Dota 2 environment. The tournament offers players a fast-paced 1v1 mirror matchup that rewards intuition and the ability to make quick decisions. For a player to progress through the tournament, they must first achieve three kills or score the first kill on an enemy T1 Tower.
In 2019, the Red Bull R1v1r Runes tournaments were hosted in seven countries: India, Croatia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, UK, and the Philippines.
