iceiceice and eyyou leave Fnatic
Veteran offlaner Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang has left Fnatic following the expiration of his contract. Filipino Nico “eyyou” Barcelon, who only joined the team last week, has also been released.
“Daryl has been the heart of the Fnatic Dota 2 roster since joining in September 2018. Since then he has been an exceptional leader and example to the team, helping us become SEA’s best Dota 2 roster,” Fnatic said in a statement.

iceiceice joined Fnatic shortly after The International 2018 and his since then established himself as the team’s shot-caller. He was instrumental to Fnatic’s qualification to TI9, their third-place finish in the Stockholm Major, and their unprecedented run of five straight championships at the start of the year.
Fnatic also decided to release ex-TNC player eyyou from its active roster. “After trialing Nico for one week as captain, we’ve mutually agreed that it’s best for us to part ways,” they said.
Fnatic is currently playing in the BTS Pro Series: SEA Season 3 with stand-ins Sangdon “Forev” Lee and Kenny “Xepher” Deo. Forev played as an offlaner in his time with T1, while Xepher was part of the Geek Fam roster that disbanded recently.
