Human after all. Team Secret’s unprecedented run of successive championships (which started with the WePlay! Pushka League back in May) has finally ended at the hands of Team Liquid at ESL One Germany.

Secret were sent to the lower bracket after a shocking loss to the newly-formed mudgolems and were finally booted out of the tournament by a resolute Liquid side who came from behind to win game 1.

Liquid never looked back and ended the second game in 25 minutes.

Secret’s loss against Liquid marks the end of one of the most dominant runs in Dota 2. A whopping seven consecutive titles (eight if you include the Gamers Without Borders 2020 Charity Showmatch) is a feat that probably won’t be matched in a long time.

If it’s any consolation, Secret’s social media manager still had the guts to meme about the situation.
