Meet the Philippines’ First Esports Scholars, Org Awardees in the 1st AcadArena Awards
AcadArena celebrates the success of the country’s up-and-coming campus esports orgs, student athletes, and scholars in the first-ever AcadArena Awards.
In partnership with Globe, the awards show is a homage to the hard work and dedication that AcadArena’s partnered schools have put in to build campus esports within the Philippines. The awards are divided based on how votes are decided: Community Selection and Closed Selection.
Community Selection gives those in campus esports the opportunity to vote for their preferred nominees. Meanwhile, Closed Selection has a dedicated panel that deliberates those deserving for the awards.
Nominations and voting were opened to all students from any university. The AcadArena Awards features the country’s first-ever esports scholars with the G.A.M.E scholarships and the Family Good Game Grant awardees.
