Bren Esports’ Duckeyyy, Leathergoods reportedly set for Sibol ML, WR head coach roles
Bren Esports’ Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro and Ralph Andrei “Leathergoods” Llabres are set to be named as head coaches of Sibol’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and League of Legends: Wild Rift teams, respectively, for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games slated for later this year in Hanoi, Vietnam, according to Tiebreaker Times.
Securing back-to-back Mobile Legends gold medals will be anything but a walk in the park but Duckeyyy’s plethora of local and international experience proves he will be up to the task.
Duckeyyy’s time in Indonesia saw him win MPL-Indonesia Season Four and the first-ever Mobile Legends world championship as part of EVOS Legends’ coaching staff.
He returned to the Philippines to join Bren Esports, guiding the team to their first MPL title last year, and following it up with the world championship crown last January.
Leathergoods boasts a strong background in the MOBA scene as well, having been a former Arena of Valor player for Bren Esports. He coached Sunsparks to their first MPL title in Season 5 and led Bren Epro to a The Nationals Season One title.
