The International 10 will relocate due to Swedish government ruling
The initial plan for The International 10 to be held at Avicii Arena at Stockholm, Sweden was denied by the Swedish Sports Federation, leaving the final venue for TI10 up to discussions again.
According to the announcement by DOTA 2, The Minister of the Interior of Sweden failed to recognize The International – Dota 2 Championships as an elite sporting event. As a result of this, everyone seeking to acquire a visa for travel into Sweden for TI10 (including players, talent, and staff) would be rejected.

“The absence of this official recognition also means individual border agents would be making decisions about entry for those traveling to the event from countries outside the EU who do not typically need a visa to enter Sweden,” Valve added.
Valve is now finding alternative solutions and searching for other possible venues in Europe as they firmly believe that the most-awaited tournament will still be held in the said continent.
The Regional Qualifiers would still be pushed through despite the unfortunate news, but not all is dark for the DOTA 2 fans because Valve just announced a new game event called “Nemestice” which may serve as an alternative to the Battlepass this year.
