PUBG Mobile 1.9 Update Brings Mechanic Improvements, New Game Modes Air Battlefield & Colorful Birth Island
PUBG Mobile’s 1.9 Update brought upon multiple mechanic improvements and new game modes Air Battlefield and Colorful Birth Island.
Here’s a quick rundown on what features were changed, tweaked, and added for the 1.9 Update:

- Erangel (New Bridge)
- Recall Mechanic
- Supply Shop Item Adjustments
Besides those updates on the classic mode, the update also brought two other game modes:
Air Battlefield
- After a hit from the enemy, your headgear may expand and float in the air. Once eliminated, you may return to the Battle Royale (BR) battlefield again.
- If a teammate hits you, the headgear will shrink, and you continue gameplay as you return to the ground.
- You only have five minutes after the battle commences to experience the colorful aerial battlefield that disappears.
Colorful Birth Island
- Players can use four different colored balls to dye the central building in their favorite color.
- Birth Island players throw colored balls of different colors and summon four giant statues representing strategy, courage, cooperation, and calmness.
Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile will also add a Tagalog Voice Pack, , voiced by one-half of the famous Moymoy Palaboy duo, in the game.
As for their anniversary event, Anniversary Pop-Up Crates with a Shoot Zone, a Score Zone, and a Strike Zone will be launched all over the Philippines soon.
