Zeal Esports revealed a drastically different new roster look with the introductions of Tim “dummy” Olson and Dominic “Kimmy” Lee through their social media accounts.

This announcement just came after the release and benching of Craig “Craigys” Salgado and James “2ge” Goopio respectively from the Zeal Esports roster.

“There were actually no plans of a roster change. The only plan that the org had was to find a new coach,” Former head coach and current team manager Yuki “Zyki” Uruma explained. “But the players decided to explore more with their career in a different org. For that, we respected their decisions,” he continued.

Similar to Alpha Esports Pro’s Gian Carlo “GianSanity” Abilla, dummy was a North American streamer who was formerly affiliated with NRG, Team Liquid, and Gen.G Esports. Meanwhile, Kimmy was a Singaporean player whose presence notably came from the SEA VALORANT Twitter scene.

With the two new players, Zyki certainly has high hopes for the new roster.

“With the great type of leadership that dummy has, a new era will be coming,” Zyki revealed.

As such, the new roster of Zeal Esports now looks like this:

  • Keith “FireSaiyajiN” Madarang
  • Carl Alexander “senyorcarL” Carandang
  • Cyle “beats” Pontilar
  • Tim “dummy” Olson
  • Dominic “Kimmy” Lee
  • James “2ge” Goopio (Benched)
