Viridis Arcus Sets Sight On Back-To-Back VALORANT AllG Championship as Group Stage Nears
As the AcadArena Alliance Games group stage for VALORANT nears, DLSU’s Viridis Arcus sets its sights on a back-to-back AllG title for the second split.

After intense play-ins from the past few weeks, 12 teams have made it into the group stage, along with the top 4 seeded playoff teams from the previous season. With a total of 16 teams, they are then divided into groups of 4, with each group featuring a seeded squad along with three more teams that got into the group stage via the play-ins.
Leading the charge in Group A is the 4-peating defending VALORANT champions of AcadArena Viridis Arcus (De La Salle University). With them in Group A are group-stage newcomers in Golden Galiants (Ateneo de Naga University), Sigma Esports (National University-Dasmariñas), and OLFU Esports Emperor (Our Lady of Fatima University).
In Group B, perpetual runners-up LG Terra (Ateneo de Manila University) is accompanied by group-stage returnees Gearhawk Esports (TUP-Manila), Atomos Haribons (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila), and the lone Cebuano representatives Cobra Esports (South Western University-PHINMA).
Meanwhile, Group C features the surprising third-placers from last season MTE Excalibur (MSU-IIT) going against fellow Mindanao representative XCEED Crusaders (Xavier University) and group-stage returnees LPE Sparrows (LPU-Manila) and OBE Makaptan (UP-Diliman).
Lastly, Group D is littered with powerhouse teams in Malayan Warlocks (Malayan Colleges of Laguna), Teletigers (University of Santo Tomas), Romançon Gaming (De La Salle College of Saint Benilde), and Golden Gears (Bulacan State University).
Notably missing this season are USC’s Warrior’s Arena, HAU’s Valiant Esports Club, and the trio of FEU schools (FIT, Apex Tamaraws, and TFX) — all of whom were once playoff contenders in the past AcadArena tournaments.
