Turkish Esports Organization S2G Esports Wins PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022

Turkish esports organization S2G Esports won the recently concluded PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 held in Jakarta, Indonesia after consistently topping the ranks in the 3-day Grand Finals event.

Composed of players Berkin “Sylas” Cetin, Taha “Calse” Unlu, Faruk “HamsiG” Hamsici, and Mehmet “RayZ” Kastal, the S2G squad first had to get through the group stage where they earned a grand finals spot after finishing third overall in Group Red. The Group stages were held from November 10 – December 4, 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Then, S2G Esports performed exceptionally well in the grand finals stage as they consistently hovered within the top five teams by the end of each day — ending in fourth place on Day 1, first on Day 2, and settling in third on Day 3. With a whopping 190 points thanks to their placements and a total of 93 eliminations, the Turkish squad took home the crown along with USD $510,000.
