Smart Omega, Blacklist Ultimate explosive in CODM Garena Masters 4 opening
Smart Omega and Blacklist Ultimate reinstated their title-favorites status after an explosive Garena Masters 4 opening week performance. The top two Call of Duty: Mobile teams in the country proved once again why they are a step above the rest of the competition after drubbing LF ORG and DIVINUS, 3-0, respectively.
Blacklist started the day off by battling former teammates and Garena CODM ladies’ champion DIVINUS. They opened the series with a commanding 250-32 victory in game 1 in Hardpoint at Raid. Blacklist then carried this momentum to win game 2 Search and Destroy at Summit 7-1, and game 3, Control at Takeoff. BLCK prodigy Gian “Yato” Socao impressed in his return to competitive CODM by garnering the match’s MVP honors.
On the other hand, Smart Omega kicked off their title defense with a convincing win against LF ORG. The defending Garena Masters champions dominated in Hardpoint at Raid 250-94 and Search and Destroy at Hacienda 7-2. LF ORG showed some signs of life in game 3 of Control at Slums however Smart Omega eventually closed them out 3-2 to cap off their masterful performance.
OG Smart Omega/NRX player and season 1 legendary Kennedy “iDra” Mondoy took home the MVP for Smart Omega after three stellar games played.

- Group A: SKADI (PH) vs EZR Esports (PH) (3-0)
- SKADI recorded a clean 3-0 over EZR via wins in Hardpoint at Raid 250-113, Search and Destroy at Standoff 7-3, and Control at Takeoff 3-1.
- Group D: 4S Kings vs RAU Franic (1-2)
- RAU overcomes 4S 1-2 by winning in Hardpoint at Raid 250-223 and Control at Standoff 3-2. They lost game 2 in Search and Destroy at Firing Range 5-7.
