WPM LowKings continue winning ways in CDSI 2023
The WPM LowKings have secured an upper bracket slot in the Call of Duty Mobile Summer Invitational (CDSI) after an impressive showing in the group stages.
The Filipinos finished first place in group A with 13 points in the leaderboard over fellow Garena teams ALMGHTY and Blacklist International. The LowKings finished an overall 4-1 win-loss record with their only loss coming from Singapore’s ALMGHTY.
WPM had a stellar streak of games including beating old tormentors Blacklist for the first time (3-0) and China’s two-time champions Q9 (3-0).
The Garena Masters 4 runners-up will now proceed to the knockout playoff stage starting June 16. They will face Group B number 2 seed Wolves in the upper bracket with a semifinal berth on the line. CDSI notably has the semifinal teams fly and play on-site in Wehai City in China should they qualify.
