Plagued by LAN server issues all day, the NAOS-Fancy United series was initially delayed for six hours before it finally started.

Then, a miscommunication between the tournament officials led to NAOS incorrectly believing the first three rounds of the first game on Fracture were mere test rounds, causing everyone to be baffled as NAOS was unassumingly throwing the rounds instead of playing the game properly. Thus, a remake was decided with all of NAOS repicking their agents and the game restarting from round one.
With everything smoothed out, NAOS tragically lost the first game on Fracture 13-9 no thanks to the infamous 9-3 curse as the Filipino squad went winless in the second half. Fortunately, NAOS was able to bounce back and reverse sweep the series, securing Pearl 13-10 and closing it out on Ascent 13-6.
With their victory, NAOS is currently tied with Thailand’s XERXIA Esports in Group Alpha with one win apiece. Furthermore, the two teams will actually be battling each other out for their next match on July 1, 2023.
