ZOL Esports shares VALORANT roster’s new look this offseason
As the offseason continues for non-Champions teams, ZOL Esports shared their VALORANT roster’s new look, retaining only two players from their VALORANT Challengers League 2023 Philippines: Split 2 squad.
The two players who remained in the team were Patrick “Patmen” Mendoza and Christian “ZYND” Lopez. Gone from the team were Aaron “gnaru” Bonaobra, Aron “2766” Orlanda, Matthew Lance “HydraKid” Padios, and Nathan “nateflix” Nioda.
With their previous roster’s iteration, ZOL was able to reach third place in the VALORANT Challengers League 2023 Philippines: Split 2 after losing to the eventual champions of the tournament, NAOS, in the lower bracket final.
Joining the remaining ZOL pair are the former Action PH duo of Elmer “Micro” Coloma, who became ZOL’s new team captain, and Kevin “Kevzii” Dingal alongside VALORANT balikbayan Oscar “Kakarot” Farin, who previously played for Medal Esports in the VALORANT Challengers League 2023 South Asia: Split 2.
ZOL’s new VALORANT roster has already seen action as they were recently crowned the champions of the ALAMAT Valorant Team Deathmatch Tournament by NAOS where they took home PHP 25,000.
