League of Legends MSI 2024 begins bracket stage
The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 enters the bracket stage, where eight of the best LoL teams in the world battle to be crowned the MSI 2024 Champions.
Four teams advanced from the play-in stage that began last week, May 1st, 2024. Reigning world champions T1 from the Korean LCK league, Pacific representatives PSG Talon, Fnatic from the EMEA league LEC, and Top Esports from the Chinese LPL league.
They join the first seeds of the four major regions: Gen.G Esports from the LCK, Bilibili Gaming from the LPL, G2 Esports from the LEC, and Team Liquid from the North American LCS league.

The bracket stage opened with a match between Team Liquid and Top Esports. This match was considered close, but Top Esports dominated the best-of-five series 3-0.
The League of Legends MSI 2024 bracket stage is a double-elimination, best-of-five bracket. Pacific team PSG Talon plays their first game in the bracket stage on May 9th, 2024.
MSI 2024 is being held in the Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center in Chengdu, China. The tournament will conclude with the grand final on May 19th, 2024. There is one best-of-five match at 5:00 p.m. (Philippine time) every day except on Monday, May 13th.
Games are broadcast on the official LoL Esports website, Twitch, and YouTube channels. Fans can also view the games with authorized co-streamers, as announced by Riot Games.
