‘Media Nexus: Channel Your Future’ – First media career fair in UP Diliman
Aspiring creatives and future media practitioners, this is the opportunity for you!
As part of their 56th anniversary celebration, the UP Broadcasting Association, co-presented by the College of Media and Communication (CMC) Student Council mounts the very first media-centric career fair to be held in the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Media and Communication this May 7 and 8, with the theme “Media Nexus: Channel Your Future”

The two-day media fair is centered on connecting students with industry professionals in the fields of news, advertising, research, and production. Partner media organizations and companies are set to station booths on both days and introduce themselves in Company Talks held in the CMC Auditorium on May 7. Their partners include GMA Entertainment Group, Inquirer.net, Malaya Creatives, MME Connections, Monster RX 93.1, Co-Create, Elev8 Holdings, Fili Studios, CreaZion Studios, Mommy Mundo, and Creative Juice and more!
Alumni guest speakers, Cornerstone Entertainment writer and director, Rod Marmol, GMA correspondent, Athena Imperial, Globe Telecom marketing expert, Gabe Garcia, and DILF MIMAROPA analyst, Chelsea Tamayo, are joining them for a panel discussion entitled “Empowering the Next Generation: Conversations about the Media Industry”. This May 8, expect exciting stories and real-life experiences as they share their journey in navigating the diverse world of media.
