Arteezy ‘to Leave EG’
In what could be one of the greatest changes that would grace the Western Dota 2 scene, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev of Evil Geniuses (EG) is about to leave the team, according to the Daily Dot Report.
“(T)wo sources close to the team and player” confirmed the departure of Arteezy from EG, the report said.
Just a couple of days ago, many players and personalities have alluded to a possible large-scale reshuffle of the Western Dota 2 scene.

Arteezy is very well-known for his Naga Siren, Death Prophet, Lycan and Razor plays. At a very young age, he has won many accolades including a second place with EG during the last edition of the International as well as seven championships and many top placings in tournaments all over the world. He was just recently named as “Gosugamers’ Midplayer of the Year”, beating names such as Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and Luo “Ferrari_430” Feichi.
His reasons for leaving and his destination are currently unknown as of press time.
