Razer NeXT Season 2 Leg 4 Wave 2 to Commence!
Four teams emerged victorious in the phase one of Razer National eSports Xtreme Tournament (NeXT) to qualify in the next phase of the tournament.
TNC Pro Team and Iconic Gaming Dota topped the qualifiers of the Northern and Southern conference respectively on Saturday, March 7, while CLIMAX and Sexun placed second respectively.
These four teams will join the top two teams of each conference from the last leg — Execration and Imba.PH (formerly Minerva) from the Northern conference and Arcanys and Wake Up Girls from the Southern — in the next wave of the tournament.
TNC Pro team was disqualified last leg but managed to leave a mark this time. They swept their side of the bracket to requalify this leg, while Iconic Gaming Dota is a “reunion” of former Warcraft 3 Dota players that took the Cebu Dota scene by storm last 2011.
The eight teams will battle it out on Thursday, March 12 to determine the top four teams (two from Northern, two from Southern) worthy of representing their conferences! — with reports from Jack D Reaper
