Following Fnatic’s surprising loss to Gambit Gaming last Friday, SK Gaming has secured an invitation to compete in IEM Katowice.

At the end of Week 5 of the League Challenger Series (LCS) split, the top teams from North America and Europe will be invited to compete at the Spodek Arena, Katowice, Poland from March 12 to 15 of this year.

Fnatic needed to win against Gambit Gaming in their match last Friday to remain in contention for the top slot in Europe. Gambit Gaming, riding off of a 5-game winning streak after starting the split at the bottom of the standings, managed to best Fnatic in surprising fashion.
