Mineski Wins MOL Dota 2 Championship
After beating G-Guard with a score of 2-0 in the grand finals, Mineski won its second LAN title this year in the MOL Dota 2 Championship held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Led by their captain Siong Tait “JoHnNy” Lee, they beat the rest of the competition which included teams such as The Prime, Genysis and Invasion eSports among others. For this feat, they took home RM10,000 (approximately P130,000) in cash as well as trophies and certificates.
The whole Mineski roster was there. However, due to nationality restrictions, Chong Xin “Ohaiyo” Khoo served as a stand-in for the team.
They will resume playing with their original roster at the upcoming OK.-Dota 2 Championship this Dec. 26 to 28, 2014.
It is important to note that this is their second LAN championship for the year, after a fresh win at the Selangor Cyber Games.
