Virtus.Pro Beats Ninjas In Pyjamas To Get To ASUS ROG DreamLeague Grand Final
Virtus.Pro (VP) gets to the grand finals of the third season of the ASUS ROG DreamLeague at DreamHack Summer 2015 after they beat hometown favorites Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) in three straight matches.
Despite producing several shining moments and getting better teamfights overall, the Swedes could not just keep up with the experience and coordination of the Russian squad, even as Sergey “God” Alexandrovich Bragin played with a bad state of health.
VP will face Natus Vincere in a best-of-five series at 12:30 am, Philippine time. Na’Vi has previously beaten VP in the upper bracket, 2-1.
For their efforts, NiP bring back $19,900 (P899,300) and the honor of taking third place in the ASUS ROG DreamLeague.
The LAN phase of the tournament featured known European Dota 2 teams such as Burden United and Alliance among others, both of which were eliminated in the earlier phases of the tournament.
