DotA Releases Massive Update; LoL Players Interested
Dota 2 is preparing its new face to show the world with the announcement of Dota 2 Reborn.
While the announcement sparked a lot of hype from its players with its all-new everything, joining in the hype are League of Legends (LoL) players who are willing to install the game and experience the changes along with the whole Dota 2 community.
Aside from the new interface, Dota 2 reborn also includes Custom Games, with the help of the new Source 2 engine — a feature which some LoL players admitted they are very interested in.
Custom Games are community-created maps and game modes (often called “mods” by the gaming community) where players can experience a different kind of Dota 2, different from the current iteration allowed in the game client.
Popular mods include Pudge Wars (a game mode where teams of five can face-off using the same hero, Pudge. The mode is all about hooking opposing players over into your team’s side of the river and watching the chaos the ensues.
These new updates made it to the subreddit of LoL and amid all the rivalries between the two games, LoL players welcomed the updates and are excited to try Dota 2 for themselves. The thread gained a lot of positive feedback from LoL players and even from Dota 2 players alike. It showcased the love for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) with both communities gathering to appreciate a new wave of changes to the popular MOBA game.

Some LoL players shared their disappointment with Riot’s shortcomings regarding the development of LoL and said that Riot should “improve instead of creating skins”.
LoL has a few game modes like Twisted Treeline where it’s basically 3 vs 3 instead of the usual 5 vs 5.
Howling Abyss is an All Random, All Middle (ARAM) and is one of the most popular modes in LoL.
Other game modes are Dominion (DoM) and Summoner’s Rift.
But for LoL players, it’s not enough for the game to be more engaging since there are still a lot to improve and expand on to keep the players hooked in the game.

Dota 2 Reborn includes an all-new dashboard that promises to make finding matches and inviting friends easier than ever before. Custom Games will have their own one-button start option, as well as the option of inviting friends to try out whole new game modes.
With Valve saving the last and final announcement surrounding Dota 2 Reborn (The Beta Begins, and Behind the New Technologies), can we expect more bombshells that will bring a slew of players from other titles into the world of Dota 2?
