The Road to Malaysia: ASUS ROG Masters Philippine Qualifiers Begins September 10
Hundreds of aspiring Pinoy Dota 2 and CS:GO teams will be fighting for a chance to represent Southeast Asia at the ASUS ROG World Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from September 10 to 15 at the Philippine leg of the tournament’s qualifiers.
Over 127 Dota 2 and 44 CS:GO teams have registered so far for the local qualifier weekend on Sept. 10 and 11. Teams outside Metro Manila will go through online qualifiers on Sept. 1o, Saturday, while those in the Metro will be competing at the on-site qualifiers at Mineski Grounds on Taft Avenue on Sept. 11, Sunday. Both qualifiers will run from 11 AM onward.

The Top 2 and Top 3 teams for the Sept. 10 and 11 Dota 2 qualifiers will go on to join the Top 8 teams for the National Finals, alongside the invited triad of Pinoy powerhouses, TNC Pro Team, Execration, and Mineski.Sports5, where they will fight for the lion’s share of an P115,000 prize pool (P80k for Dota 2, P35k for CS:GO) and two spots at the SEA regional qualifiers for the World Finals at Malaysia.
The Top 3 Dota 2 teams will be receiving prize pots of P50k, P20k, and P10k respectively, while CS:GO’s will receive P20k, P10k, and P5k.
