Watch Local Teams Fight for their eSports Dreams – ROG Masters Goes Live This Weekend
The Philippine leg of the qualifiers for the ASUS ROG Masters World Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is just around the corner. From September 10, Saturday, until 18, Sunday, hundreds of Pinoy Dota 2 and CS:GO teams will be fighting for a chance to represent Southeast Asia in the World Finals, promising a few days of high-octane action for Dota 2 and CS:GO fans alike.

After the Pinoys shocked the world with their legendary runs in Dota 2’s The International 2016, this will be their first shot at trying to prove their mettle against the world’s best in the new Dota 2 season (and in some cases, in new teams too).
Wanna know what’s at stake? Wanna know how you can watch all of the action? Look no further. Here are some things to remember about the upcoming qualifiers:
The Prizes
Up for grabs in the qualifiers is a total prize pot of P115,000, with P80,000 for Dota 2 and P35,000 for CS:GO. The Top 3 teams in the National Finals for Dota 2 will receive P50,000, P20,000, and P10,000 respectively, while CS:GO’s will get P20,000, P10,000, and P5,000.
Living the eSports Dream
The Top two teams in National Finals will also get the chance to represent the Philippines in the Southeast Asian Regional Qualifier. If they can win there, then they will be representing SEA in the World Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where an even bigger prize pool of $200,000 (or over P9 million!) awaits them!
The Stream
Esports by Inquirer.net will be getting you into the thick of the action during the qualifiers, as we will be streaming the games through our Twitch channel.
The stream will go live at 10 AM onwards during the qualifier weekend on Sept. 10 and 11. We will also be broadcasting the Group Stages of the National Finals on Sept. 14 and 15, which will run from 6 PM-10 PM, and the Finals, which will start at 10 AM on Sept. 17 and 18.

Bringing you all of the action during our broadcasts will be none other than Dota 2 caster Tryke “TryQ” Gutierrez and rapper, fliptop artist Christopher “Shehyee” Ongkiko and many others who shall be joining the casting crew!
