Execration Acquires First-Person Shooter Team

With the increasing popularity of first-person shooter (FPS) games such as CrossFire (CF) Online and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) in the country, premier local gaming organization Execration acquires six players to form their own FPS team.

In a statement on their official Facebook page, the management said in Filipino that “they believe in the talent of Pinoy FPS players.” It also mentions that “it would be a waste if we would not continue the fight.”

According to the above post, the team will participate in local CF and CS:GO tournaments in the Philippines.

Filipino teams such as Horsemen of the Apocalypse back in CS 1.6 as well as MSIEvoGT, Pacific.Wara and Pacific.Macta in CrossFire have consistently taken the top 4 spots in international tournaments during their respective careers.

More recently, Pacific.Macta surprised everyone when the team took third place in the last edition of the CrossFire Stars Global Finals, beating top-caliber teams such as China’s EP.IG and Europe’s Penta Esports along the way.
