Cloud9.G2A Wins Nanyang Championships American Qualifier
Cloud9.G2A (C9.G2A)secured a spot for the Nanyang Championships main event after defeating newly formed team Digital Chaos (DC), 3:0 in the American Qualifiers.
C9.G2A cruised their way in the winner bracket and was undefeated throughout the qualifier. DC, meanwhile, showed a promising start. The team’s winning streak ended after they got beaten by C9.G2A, 2:0, and was placed in the loser bracket.
DC got back up after defeating Fire.Dota, 2:1, in the loser bracket finals. They had a chance to battle it out again against C9.G2A in the grand finals but C9.G2A proved to be a tough team to beat.

After the recent roster changes the North American team is looking to be at the top of their game. They are also doing well in the ESL One New York American Qualifiers.
C9.G2A will compete in the LAN event at Suntec Convention Center in Singapore on October 26-November 1 for over $200,000 (P93.5 million~) along with the six invited teams:

- Secret
- Vici Gaming
- LGD Gaming
- CDEC
Next up for Nanyang Championships will be the Chinese qualifiers starting this week.
