Meanwhile, games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 have their respective competitions, while casual gamers have a lot of games to choose from the numerous booths that will be set up during the event.

In addition, up-and-coming games such as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Just Dance 2016 are ready for testing at the Ubisoft booth, which is arguably one of the biggest gaming publishers to exhibit their wares at the event. Disney Infinity 3.0, a sandbox game, will also feature new characters from the Star Wars and Marvel universe.

Furthermore, PLDT Home and Smart Communications have joined forces to set up a booth that will allow players to experience top titles such as League of Legends, Left 4 Dead 2 and Halo 2 Spartan Strike, as well as several other renowned games.

Finally, gamers who want to support their country’s game development industry have a chance to vote for the Best Indie Game award during the event, which features thirty of the best Filipino game publishers out there.

Overall, the event promises to reach out to every gaming stakeholder in the country via its numerous tournament offerings and exhibits from the game development industry.

This year’s edition of the ESGS is set to be held on October 24-25 this year at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall Of Asia. The venue is considered to be the largest private setting in the Philippines for big-scale functions.
