Mineski to Face Major Champions OG in Opening Match at The Summit

Looking to continue their hot streak as one of Southeast Asia’s top-flight Dota 2 tearms, Filipino powerhouse Mineski is set to launch its Summit 4 campaign against Frankfurt Fall Major champions OG this coming Thursday, 2 a.m. PHT.

The Summit 4 features eight of the best Dota 2 teams from all over the world, fighting for a base prize pool of $100,000 (~P47 million). The other six attendants include EHOME, Vici Gaming, Digital Chaos, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro.

Departing from tradition, The Summit 4 will feature a best-of-three, double elimination format, with a best-of-five series slated for the championship match.

Jio “Jeyo” Madayag is set to replace team captain Ryan Jay “Bimbo” Qui after the latter was unable to secure his Visa in time due to technical problems.
