Mineski CEO Delivers on Challenge
Early last January, Ronald “Rhom” Robins, founder and CEO of gaming organization Mineski offered up a challenge to all the unattached Filipino Dota 2 players out there. It was a ‘simple’ one step plan to become a professional Dota 2 player. The challenge? To reach 7,000 MMR and be one of top five Filipinos on the SEA Dota 2 Leaderboards. ‘Simply’ put, be the best of the best.
Less than a month after Rhom’s public challenge, two players have risen from the brawl of the best. Benhur Cruz Lawiz and Ramyaj (Jaymar) are the first ever #7kMMRWarriors.
They have both been awarded Php 15,000 and might soon break into a Mineski Team. Congratulations Benhur and Jaymar!
Mineski continues to play its hand in pushing the budding Philippine Dota 2 and eSports scene to even greater heights.
Who will be the next #7kMMRWarrior? Who will rise to the challenge and who will be forgotten like the rest?
