Street Fighter Pro Sets World Record For Undefeated Streak

Few are considered legends in the world of competitive Street Fighter. Be it from a memorable play like Daigo Umehara’s parry comeback at EVO 2004 or Luffy’s Playstation 1 controller run during 2014’s installment of the same tournament, players within this echelon are to be always remembered.

Ryan “Prodigal Son” Hart is no stranger to the arcade stick. In fact, he has been competing in pretty much every fighting game since the start, placing high at multiple international Tekken, Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter tournaments over the past decade.

Just last month, the Prodigal Son added another title to his belt – the Guinness Book World Record for most consecutive opponents on Street Fighter V. Over the span 11 hours, he battled through 260 challengers, one of which was the series’ very own producer, Yoshinoro Ono.
