It’s Wings Gaming going up against compLexity for the deciding match of Group A here at ESL One Manila! Winner goes to the semi-finals, while the loser will say farewell to this tournament.
Game 1: Aggressive Mindgames Win Games!
Aside from the usual picks, Wings Gaming got themselves an Ursa as a reply to compLexity’s Lifestealer. The match started with a very strong opening by the Chinese side. However, as the game progressed, Chessie’s Lifestealer started to pse problems to the Chinese as the Lifestealer devoured magically immune Ancients, disrupting whatever plans Wings Gaming had at the beginning of the match.

The tactic worked well for compLexity, as it allowed them to take the driver’s seat and win the match after a grueling 47-minute match.

In comparison, this one was action-packed and fast-paced as teams strove to get kills all over the map: By the 25th-minute mark, there were 41 kills on the board with Wings Gaming having a 6,000 gold advantage.
However, it still took 40 kills and 40 minutes for Wings Gaming to finish the second map.

The third match ended at 37 minutes after a very good teamfight by the Chinese team at the bottom lane, catching two of complexity’s heroes without buyback. At that point, Wings Gaming just took destroyed the whole Dire base, leaving the American side with no option but to tap ou of the game.
With these results, Wings Gaming is the last team to get out of Group A while complexity and Mineski are already out of the tournament.
Wings Gaming is set to fight Fnatic tomorrow in their semi-final match.
