ASEAN Games for eSports Philippine Qualifier Dota 2 Matchups are Here!

With the qualifiers for ASEAN Games for eSports (AGES) 2016 going underway, the Philippine eSports Organization is proud to announce the eight invited teams for the AGES 2016 Philippine Dota 2 Qualifiers!


The teams include Mineski, TNC, Rave, Execration, Acion Arena, Skyville, Arcanys and Varro.

The winner will fly to Malaysia with flight and accommodation covered by the Philippine eSports Organization (PeSO), while the second placer of this qualifier can also participate in the grand finals of AGES 2016 at their own expense. As a rule, all players who want to participate in the qualifier are required to have a valid passport.

Here are the groups for the AGES 2016 Philippine Dota 2 Qualifiers:

In Group A, Arcanys will go up against Rave for their first match, while Acion Arena will face TNC.

Meanwhile, in Group B, Mineski and Varro will battle it out in the first round, while Execration will duke it out with Skyville in the round robin bracket.

The top two teams from each group will fight in a single-elimination bracket to determine who will represent our country at AGES 2016!

Matches will start at Saturday, April 30 at 7 p.m.


The Philippine eSports Organization (PeSO) is the organizing entity of the Philippine Qualifiers for AGES 2016.

AGES 2016 is a part of an initiative by various eSports organizations from all over the SEA region in cooperation with ASEAN, which include the Philippine eSports Organization (PeSO), Singaporean Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) and Indonesian eSports Association (IeSPA), among others.
