Philippines to Face Jordan in CS:GO’s TWC Asian Qualifier
The Philippines is set to face Jordan in its bid to qualify for this year’s The World Championships (TWC) for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
If the Philippines wins the matchup, they will face two of the teams seeded in the main group stage, in addition to one of the winners of the other second-round qualifier matches.
With Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Thailand already waiting in the double-elimination bracket, the Philippines is expected to face tough opposition.
Last year, the Philippines was unable to get to the main event after being unable to secure the necessary number of points in order to get to the LAN final.
The match is scheduled to be held on July 1, 8:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time (PHT). The game can be watched on the e-Frag Azubu stream.
Here is the lineup for this year’s Philippine national team:
Dominic “Hannibal” Fajardo
Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan
Jose Carlo “Rbtx” Jamir
Kevin “dispenser” Te
Ronard “gii” Tecson
