Manila Cup 2016 Details Announced
Manila Cup 2016, the second iteration of the Imperium Pro Team-ran (IPT) fighting game tournament, was confirmed today to be taking place on September 9 – 11, 2016.
Happening at the Acropolis Clubhouse in Libis, the event is set to feature 5 titles. These are:
- Street Fighter V
- Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Mortal Kombat XL
- Blazblue ChronoPhantasma Extend
The event will be an official Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) ranking event, meaning that top placers in the Street Fighter V event will be able to gain points for the CPT seasonal leader-board. In addition, the champion of the event will proceed to the CPT Asian Regional Finals for the chance to grab a CPT Global Finals slot later this year.
Registration for the event has now opened. A flat venue fee of $50 will be applied to all attendees and a $10 fee will be added for every tournament one joins.
