Garena Premier League Summer Schedule and Match-Ups Released
Iloilo’s pride Acclaim EmpireX’ first adversaries in the Garena Premier League (GPL) have been revealed! AEX will be facing the best teams all over Southeast Asia to represent the Philippines . The Garena regions and teams involved are confirmed below:
- Vietnam – Saigon Jokers (SAJ)
- Singapore – Vestigial (VTL)
- Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur Hunters (KLH)
- Philippines – Acclaim EmpireX (AEX)
- Thailand – Bangkok Titans (BKT)
- Indonesia – Kanaya Gaming (KG)
The whole tournament proper is divided into five rounds. For the first day, AEX will be battling against Thailand and Malaysia.

Acclaim EmpireX almost didn’t make it in time for the GPL due to passport issues but with Senator Bam Aquino and Garena Philippine’s support, they are able to push through and will be flying to Vietnam on August, 7 along with their Team Owner, Francis Chu. Whoever wins the GPL, will proceed to the IWCI (International Wildcard Invitationals), which is the last league leading to the World Championships of League of Legends.
