ICYMI: Overwatch Cup Update – The Top 16 Teams Going To Blizzcon!
Attention Agents – As we all know, Blizzard hosted a tournament known as the Overwatch World Cup pitting different teams hailing from different countries for a chance at glory and fame. The divisions were according to location with 6 from APAC, 6 from Europe and 4 from Americas. One of the teams would be the Philippine team headed by Gibo.
The APAC brackets were divided into 3 groups namely A, B and C with the PH team placed in C alongside Malaysia and Singapore, two formidable forces to be reckoned with. After two games, the PH team just couldn’t make the cut and lost 0-2 to both teams with Singapore emerging victorious. Singapore with Taiwan and Thailand will be representing the APAC for this coming Blizzcon 2016.
After days of waiting, the finalizations for the teams competing for the chance to play at Blizzcon 2016 are completed and we have our final 16 teams, playing for glory and fame.
