Cebu-based Dota 2 team, Arcanys Gaming, has sent out an open call for player tryouts, the team announced via Facebook post last Sunday.

The IT-company backed Arcanys Gaming has been quiet on both the local and international fronts as the team has struggled to put together a stable line-up since 2015. The retirement of their former captain, Heinrich “Heinrich” Don Abad has left the team in a leaderless vacuum.
Another Arcanys alumnus, offlaner Jun “Bokerino” Kanehara, has experienced some success in the 2015-2016 season playing for Mineski. As part of Mineski, Bokerino competed at ESL ONE Manila and the Manila Majors.
